1) Challenge your child to write one noun/verb/adjective/adverb for each letter of the alphabet. 2) Write down a few nouns. Ask your child to write a suitable adjective to go with each of them. 3) As you read a story, ask your child to find examples for one type of part of speech, e.g. determiners or adjectives. 4) Put down 10 letters. Ask your child to find/write 10 verbs/nouns/adjectives/etc. beginning with these letters. 5) Make a list of conjunctions. Ask your child to write sentences including these conjunctions. 6) Put down a few adverbs, e.g. quickly, soon, everywhere, extremely. Ask your child to write a sentence including each of them. 7) Give your child a minute or two to put down as many prepositions/interjections/verbs/etc. as they can. 8) Ask your child to find an example for each of the nine parts of speech in the book you're reading. 9) Play Hangman with parts of speech. (https://www.weareteachers.com/parts-of-speech-activities/)
