I think the teacher should correct me every time I make a mistake. That’s their job and it’s the only way I can learn., I think the teacher should correct me less when I am speaking. Fluency is what is important, not all the mistakes., I think I need more vocabulary and want to learn some lists of words. Words are more important than rules., I think I need more rules about grammar. Rules are important to help you use English correctly, and that is how I learnt my own language., I want more tests. They are important to know how you are doing and what you need to correct in your English., I don’t like tests. They are a waste of time when I could be using the language in more real situations., I need to finish learning English as quickly as possible so need the classes to go faster. I also want the teacher to tell me when I have finished., I am in no hurry – I just like language. I think that a person can never finish learning a language., I want to just use the book. If I have a copy, why not use it? It’s important to cover everything in the book – that’s why it’s there, isn’t it?, I don’t want to use the book. It’s boring, and there are lots of other things I could do. I want the teacher to prepare other materials to practice speaking and listening, and I want to read about topics that are relevant to me., I don’t think writing is useful. I don’t even write much in my own language, and writing in English is so difficult. It’s difficult also to find time to do the writing homework., I think writing is important. I need to practise it. It helps me remember other things also, like spelling and grammar rules., Homework is a drag! I'm busy enough, I haven't got time for it., Homework is absolutely essential, I'm going to do every little bit of it and to ask my teacher for some extra tasks..
