PBL: needs teacher's guidance and team collaboration, includes many 'need to knows' on the part of teachers and students, teacher's work is mainly before the project, Students have a lot of choices to make, based on directions, are open, can provide solutions to the real world problems, is relevant to students' lives, the scenario or simulation is real or realistic, uses technology, tools and practices chosen by the students and in line with their needs, is presented to a real audience outside of the classroom, Projects: can be done at home without teacher's support or peer collaboration, can be outlined on one piece of paper by the teacher, teacher's work is mainly after the project, Students have few choices to make during project work, based on 'driving questions', are closed, cannot provide solutions in the real world, are not particularly relevant to students' lives, do not include scenarios / background information , are sometimes based around a tool for the sake of the tool (make a canva presentation), is turned in and graded by a teacher,
