A good employee should always bring something to the table, even if they don’t feel in their element at first., In my humble opinion, being proficient in communication skills is more rewarding than having a strong technical background., It is often the case that companies end up creating a bottleneck because they fail to address problems early., Lately, remote work has made people more productive, but it has also made many employees feel lonely., Having strong values and self-awareness is more important for career development than being ambitious., When teams have a disagreement, they should try to reach a consensus instead of letting the conflict escalate., A manager should be humble when employees pitch ideas and present compelling arguments., Rolling out a new product without doing research is likely to do harm to a company’s conversion rate., Paid holidays and flexibility at work make a real difference to employees’ motivation and confidence., If a solution doesn’t fit the needs of most people, it should be eliminated, even if it sounded extraordinary at first., Taking unpaid leave or a day off should not make employees feel guilty if they need to recharge., The rise of digital nomads proves that commuting hardly makes sense anymore., People often catch themselves thinking they need to make a massive change in their life, but small steps usually do the trick., Making fun of colleagues by mistake can still do damage, even if you didn’t mean it., At least one person in every team should be able to work out a solution when things don’t go as planned..
