First,, Max finished his homework and left it on the table to dry. He felt proud—it was his best work ever!, Then,, his dog, Bobo, walked in, sniffed the paper, and thought it looked delicious. Max shouted, “No, Bobo, not my homework!”, Next,, Max tried to take it back, but Bobo ran around the house with pieces of paper flying everywhere., Finally,, at school the next morning, Max told his teacher, “I really did my homework... but my dog actually ate it!” The teacher laughed and said, “That’s the oldest excuse in the book, Max—but you win for creativity!”.
