Oliver, I've been struggling to find a decent study method that actually works for me - nothing seems to stick., Have you tried breaking your sessions into shorter blocks? Even a decent routine of twenty-minute intervals can make a real difference., I find it really difficult to concentrate when I'm studying in a remote location, like a café in the middle of nowhere with no Wi-Fi., That's a fair point - being too remote from resources can actually slow you down more than help you focus., I've become more conscious of how much time I waste scrolling through my phone between study sessions., Being conscious of it is already a good first step - once you notice the habit, it's much easier to change it., Sophie and I hit it off straight away in our study group, and we've been revising together ever since., That's brilliant - having someone you get on well with makes studying so much less of a chore., Some tutoring apps charge quite a lot for premium features that you can honestly get for free elsewhere., That's true. I'd rather not pay what they charge until I've tried the free version and know it's actually useful., It doesn't really matter which technique you use, as long as you're consistent with it over time., 'm not sure I fully agree - I think the method does matter, especially for subjects that require deep understanding., I find it extremely difficult to study in a noisy environment - even background music puts me off., I'm the opposite, actually. I find silence extremely distracting, so I always have something quiet playing in the background., What do you think the most likely outcome of changing your study habits would be?, I think the outcome would be less stress before exams and probably better results - it's just hard to stay disciplined enough to make the change., Online learning really seems to be booming right now - there are so many new platforms and courses appearing every month., It really is booming. I think people have realised that you can learn almost anything from home if you find the right resources., As the exam period draws near, I'm starting to feel the pressure and I'm not sure my revision plan is working., It's normal to feel that way when exams draw near, but try to stick to your plan - changing everything now will only add to the stress.
