Often caused by atherosclerosis, cardio embolism, lacunar stroke, cryptogenic stroke (undetermined cause), or clots., HEMORRHAGIC STROKE - Occurs due to bleeding in the brain due to the break of a blood vessel, leading to no blood flow to the brain. Can lead to excessive swelling in the brain. Often from a ruptured aneurysm, uncontrolled hypertension, or aging blood vessels (old age),
