What are pigments made up from?, Particles, Paint, Chromatography is..., The process of drawing a graph, The process of separating things out to analyse them, The process of drawing a dot on a piece of paper, What does a solvent do?, It is used to create a nice smell, It is used to mix paints together, It is used to dissolve things, Why do we use a pencil to draw the line at the bottom of the chromatography paper?, Because pencil lines do not dissolve in water., Because the pencil line is a different colour to the ink., Becuase pencil can be rubbed out., Why must the solvent liquid be poured in so that it stops below the pencil line?, So that the paper stays dry, As the water is soaked up it makes the ink separate upwards., What part of an investigation includes what you found out, whether you hypothesis was right, and an explanation why?, Evaluation, Results, Conclusion, What is a suspect?, Someone who might have commited the crime, Someone who you don't like, Someone who is already guilty.
