EF / WM can be affected by traumatic events., In particular such events can impact a learner’s ‘internal voice’ which motivates them and keeps them on-track to their goals., They may also have difficulties with emotions and motivation, expressing themselves immediately and dramatically., Although these feelings are not necessarily inappropriate to the situation, they may show them more readily than others., For example, if they find an activity boring, their reaction will be loud and extreme!
