SpongeBob hasn't played baseball in a long time and needs practice., He goes down to the basement, digs out his old plastic bat, soft ball, and tee stand, and practices outside his house., Right before batting, he realizes (or is reminded) that he forgot his helmet., Another player tosses him a hard helmet, and SpongeBob puts it on., When he arrives at the field, he sees real, heavy wooden bats and fastballs, with no tee stands; he gets nervous and starts shaking., He decides to be brave so he won't disappoint his dad, picks up the smallest bat, and steps up to the plate., SpongeBob is so nervous that he misses the fastball, resulting in "Strike 1!, He takes a deep breath, sees his dad watching him, focuses completely on the ball, and tries again., He successfully hits the ball ("Dink!"), but he is so surprised that he forgets to run., Hearing his dad shout "Run, SpongeBob, run!", he immediately snaps out of it and runs to first base., The team needs a run and his dad needs to safely reach home plate., SpongeBob shouts "Dad, go!", prompting his dad to run home just in time to score the winning run
