It must be an "If...then..." statement., method - The steps you must take in order to do your experiment., experiment - This step is where you test your hypothesis, results - Create charts, tables, graphs, and pictures to show your proof., conclusion - This is where you state whether your hypothesis was correct or not, and make suggestions for future experiments., controlled variable - These are the things in your experiment that you must keep the same during your testing., independent variable - This is the variable that is controlled by the experimenter., dependent variable - This is the variable being tested and measured in the experiment, extraneous variable - This is a variable, other than the IV, that could cause changes in the value of the DV., confounding variable - This has a systematic effect on the value of the DV - makes any conclusions drawn invalid.,
