1) Electrical Burns Treatment a) Ensure the current is turned off b) Go straight to the Person c) Keep the person still d) Move the person to safety! e) Look for an entry & exit f) Call 911 2) Bruises a) Call 911 if internal bleed b) Ice pack - 20 mins c) Heat Pad d) Concern for elderly e) Concern = Blood Clots f) It's just a bruise 3) Chemical Burns a) Put on PPE b) Remove clothing with chem. c) Flush with vinegar d) Flush with water - LOTS! e) Leave clothing on f) Don't call 911 4) Bandaging a) Dirty Dressing b) Clean/Sterile Dressing c) Check Circulation below B4 & AFTER! d) Change if Blood soaks through e) Infection/insmecktion f) Keep an eye out for infection 5) Burns a) Superficial - Call 911 b) Partial Thickness - If >1/8th call 911 c) Full Thickness - Call 911 ASAP d) AED/Call 911 if breathing difficulties e) Call 911 - Face, Neck, Hands f) Never call 911 6) Splinter - Not Ninja Turtles - - slivers a) Use Tweezers b) Treat wound as a cut c) Leave it in d) The body will fix itself e) Use your teeth and pull it out 7) Knocked out Teeth  a) Bit down on dressing b) Pick up tooth by white part c) Put it in egg white, coconut milk, spit d) Put it in orange juice e) Call 911 8) Nosebleed a) Pinch nose b) Lean Back c) Lean FWD d) Call 911 ASAP e) Shove cotton in it ASAP 9) Eye Injuries a) Impaled = Call 911 b) Touch the eye c) If Chem = Flush with water >15min d) Blink several times e) Pull out the object with a magnet 10) Impaled Objects a) Leave it & Stabilize it b) Donut Bandage c) Secure Dressing d) Check area below e) Take it out! 11) Chest Injury a) Deformity/Swelling b) Difficulty Breathing c) Call 911 & Get AED d) Roll person in to recovery position e) Change the dressing if saturated with blood
