Has there [not] come upon man - هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى الْإِنسَانِ, a period of time - حِينٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ, when he was not a thing [even] mentioned? - لَمْ يَكُن شَيْئًا مَّذْكُورًا, We created man - إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ, and We made him hearing and seeing. - فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا, We guided him to the way - إِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّبِيلَ, We have prepared for the disbelievers - إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ, Chains and shackles and a blaze. - سَلَاسِلَ وَأَغْلَالًا وَسَعِيرًا, he righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] - إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ, whose mixture is of Kafur - كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا, SA spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink - عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللَّهِ, hey will make it gush forth in force [and abundance]. - يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًا, be he grateful or be he ungrateful. - إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا,
