Nervous system is the command center., It is originated in the brain, Controls movements, thoughts, and automatic responses., Also controls other systems, processes and development., The Nervous system is dividen in Central nervous system and Peripherial Nervous system., Central Nervous system is formed by the brain and the Spinal cord., The brain weight around 1.3- 1-4 kg., The brain is formed 60% by fat and 40% of protein, water, carbohydrates and salts., The brain is divided in 6 sections: Brainstem, cerebrum, cerebellum, pons, medulla oblongata, and diencephalon., These six parts control thought, memory, emotion, touch, motor skills, vision, breathing, hunger and all other processes in the body., Spinal cord: Is made of nervous cells and groups of nerves. , The spinal cord carries messages between the brain and the rest of the body., The spinal cord is classified into cervical, thoracic, and lumbar areas, Cervical is located in the neck, Thoracic is located in the chest, Lumbar is located in the lower back., The peripheral system consists of nerves that branch out from the brain and the spinal cord., The nerves of these branches are the communication network between the Central Nervous system and the body parts., The peripheral nervous system is divided in somatic and autonomic , Somatic System carry sensory information or sensations from our senses, controls voluntary movements., Autonomic System controls inner organs, and activities like digestion and subconscious like breathing.,
