He bit the wolf’s neck and the wolf died. There was a lot of blood., The Prince returned from the hunt. He saw the cradle turned over and the blood everywhere. He did not see the dead wolf., The Prince thought that Gelert had killed the baby. He took his sword and killed Gelert., The baby woke up and started crying. The Prince saw the dead wolf in the corner of the room., The Prince realised the terrible mistake he had made. , He buried Gelert in the village graveyard..
