GDY WRACAM MYŚLAMI DO, When I think back on, OSTATNIEGO LATA, last summer,, JEDEN SZCZEGÓLNY DZIEŃ, one particular day, NATYCHMIAST PRZYCHODZI MI NA MYŚL., immediately comes to mind., NIE BYŁO TO NIC NADZWYCZAJNEGO, It wasn’t anything extraordinary, CZY TEŻ DOKŁADNIE PLANOWANEGO, or carefully planned,, ALE BYĆ MOŻE DLATEGO WŁAŚNIE, but perhaps that’s why, UTKWIŁ MI W PAMIĘCIE, it has stuck in my mind, TAK WYRAŹNIE., so vividly., W SIERPNIU, In August, CZŁONKOWIE MOJEJ, members of my, BLISKIEJ I DALSZEJ RODZINY, close and distant family, SPĘDZILI TYDZIEŃ RAZEM, spent a week together, W MAŁYM NADMORSKIM MIASTECZKU., in a small seaside town., KTÓREGOŚ DNIA MÓJ BRAT, One day my brother, WPADŁ NA POMYSŁ, came up with the idea, ŻE BY WSTAĆ, of getting up, O ŚWICIE, at the crack of dawn, ŻEBY OGLĄDAĆ WSCHÓD SŁOŃCA., to watch the sunrise., NAJPIERW, At first,, NIE BYŁEM SZCZEGÓLNIE ENTUZJASTYCZNIE NASTAWIONY, I wasn’t particularly enthusiastic, CO DO TEGO POMYSŁU., about the idea., NO PRZECIEŻ,, After all,, ZWLLEKANIE SIĘ Z ŁÓŻKA, dragging myself out of bed, O PIĄTEJ RANO NA WAKACJACH, at 5 am during the holidays, NIE BRZMIAŁO ZBYT KUSZĄCO., didn’t sound very appealing., JEDNAK,, However,, ON OSTATECZNIE, he eventually, ZDOŁAŁ NAMÓWIĆ MNIE DO TEGO, managed to talk me into it, A JA NIECHĘTNIE ZGODZIŁEM SIĘ,, and I reluctantly agreed, ŻEBY DAĆ TEMU SZANSĘ., to give it a go., NASTĘPNEGO RANKA, The next morning,, PO CICHU WYMKNĘŁLIŚMY SIĘ Z MIESZKANIA, we quietly slipped out of the apartment, I POKIEROWALIŚMY SIĘ W STRONĘ PLAŻY., and headed towards the beach., PLAŻE BYŁY PRAWIE, The streets were almost, KOMPLETNIE PUSTE, completely empty,, A MIASTO WYDAWAŁO SIĘ, and the town felt, TOTALNIE INNE, totally different, BEZ TYCH TYPOWYCH TŁUMÓW TURYSTÓW., without the usual crowds of tourists., BYŁO PRZYJEMNIE CIEPŁO, It was pleasantly cool,, I WIAŁ ODŚWIEŻAJĄCY WIETRZYK, and there was a refreshing breeze, POCHODZĄCY Z MORZA., coming from the sea., CO DZIWNE, Surprisinlgy ,, NIE BYŁO PRAWIE NIKOGO W POBLIŻU., there was hardly anyone around .
