I got a big shock when I arrived in France, It took me some time to get used to the French accent, I really appreciated the warm welcome, but I gradually got used to it, It was my first time in France, I stayed with, What I liked the most / the least was, It was an unforgettable experience, I made so much progress in French, They let me sample / try the specialities of the region , I travelled first by...then by..., all things considered, I realised that, It was the first time that I had travelled alone , I managed / got by, We had a good laugh, I spent two weeks there, the journey was, I had to share a room, I have become more independant, I missed my family, I made friends, I stayed with a French family so that I could make the most of my stay in France, in the sense that, I made the most of my time there to perfect my French by talking with.
