Arm , On the side, is used to support the microscope when it is carried, Base , Bottom part of microscope, Body , Connects eyepiece to objectives, Coarse Adjustment Knob , Moves the stage up and down , Diaphragm, Helps adjust the amount of light that reaches the specimen, Eyepiece, Allows you to view the specimen on stage and contains the ocular stage, Fine Adjustment Knob, Moves stage slightly to help sharpen view of specimen, Mirrors/ light, Projects light upwards to allow to see the specimen, Nosepiece , Holds the objective lenses and is able to rotate to change magnificcation, Objective Lenses, Found on the nosepiece and range from low to high power, Stage, Supports the slide thats being viewed with the specimen, Stage Clips, Used to hold slide in place on the stage.
