1) Animals can become extinct when all of their species or family die. 2) When an animal family is in danger of extinction we call it an endangered species. 3) A species can become extinct because of many different things. 4) Reasons: more animals eat it, sudden changes in the weather, natural disasters, nes deseases, the actions of people 5) The most famous extinct animals are dinosaurs, which died out more than 65 million years ago. 6) Before dinosaurs became extinct there were a lot of volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and tsunamis, and changes in the sea level. 7) Something killed all animals over 25 kg. 8) The most popular idea is that an asteroid hit the Earth and made a hole in it. The weather became colder. 9) There was nothing to eat, so they died.
