sarcastic "sorry" - isn't really an apology, apologize publicly  - when someone gives a formal apology, draw a line under - say that sth is finished, take responsibility for - accept and even announce that you'll take the blame, sincere apologies - are the ones which show empathy, regret, or real belief you did sth wrong,
