normal plant cell, plasmolysed/flaccid plant cell, turgid plant cell, no overall net movement of water between the cell vacuole and the external solution, water left the vacuole as it was more dilute than the surrounding concentrated solution, water entered the vacuole as it contained a more concentrated solution than the dilute solution surrounding the cell.
