1) We use going to for future plans and intentions. 2) We use going to for predictions based on some evidence. 3) We use the present continuous for future arrangements (plans and intentions). 4) There is very little difference between the use of going to and the present continuous for the future. 5) We often use the present continuous for the future with verbs related to travel arrangements (ex. go, come, arrive, leave, travel, etc.) 6) We use will for promises, offers, decisions at the moment and predictions based on no evidence.
