Hello everyone. My name is ________ and we are _______ team. Today, our team is going to present our science project. Our project is called “Parts of a Flower.” We made a flower model to show the different parts of a flower and what they do. We wanted to make a model because it is easier to understand the flower when we can see and point to each part., Hello everyone. My name is ________. To make our flower model, we used different materials such as paper, cardboard, colored paper, glue, scissors, and markers. We used different colors to make the flower parts easier to see. We worked together and shared the jobs between the team members., Hello, teacher and friends. My name is ________. We started by making the main shape of the flower. Then, we added the sepals, petals, carpel, and stamen. We also added labels for the stigma, ovary, filament, and anther. We tried to make our model clear and easy to understand. Each team member helped with different parts of the project., Hi everyone. My name is ________. The hardest part of making our project was putting all the small parts together. Some parts were small, so they were difficult to cut and attach. We also needed to make sure that the labels were in the correct places. When we had problems, we helped each other and tried again., Hello everyone. My name is ________. While making this project, we learned many new things about flowers. We learned that every part of a flower has an important job. We also learned about pollination, pollinators, and fertilization. Now, we would like to explain the different parts of a flower and how they help the plant reproduce., Let's start with the sepals and petals. Sepals are usually green, and they protect the flower when it is still a bud. Petals are often colorful and sometimes have a nice smell. Their colors and smells can help attract pollinators. Some flowers also produce nectar, which gives food to pollinators such as bees and butterflies., The carpel is the female part of the flower. It has two main parts: the stigma and ovary. The stigma is at the top and receives pollen. The stigma is connected to the ovary. The ovary contains eggs., The stamen is the male part of the flower. It has two main parts: the filament and anther. The filament is a thin stalk that holds the anther. The anther produces pollen. Pollen is important because it is needed for reproduction., Pollination happens when pollen moves from the anther to the stigma. Bees, butterflies, birds, and other animals can help move pollen. These animals are called pollinators. When a bee visits a flower, pollen can stick to its body. When the bee visits another flower, some pollen can move to the stigma., After pollination, fertilization can happen. Fertilization happens when pollen joins with an egg inside the ovary. After fertilization, the eggs can develop into seeds, and the ovary can develop into a fruit., This is the end of our presentation. From this project, we learned that flowers, pollination, pollinators, and fertilization are all important for flowering plants. We also learned how to work together and solve problems as a team. Thank you very much for listening to us. If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer them.
