Improving Physical Education (PE) in Schools - Encourage increasing lesson time of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity led by well-trained specialists, Physical Activity (PA) in Schools (non-PE) - Work with partners and/or coalitions in the School setting to have more physical activity during the school day (can include active recess and recess before lunch or before and/or after school), Physical Activity (PA) in ECE - Work with partners and coalitions in the ECE setting to have physical activities during the day, Community Physical Activity Opportunities - Work with partners and coalitions in various settings to have physical activities during the day (such as time for PA breaks and organized PA), Stencils - Template to create painted PA cues and games, Creating New Farmers Markets Food Environment at Market - PSE to help markets sell healthy products and limit the sale of unhealthy products; includes access to water, Creating New Farmers Markets General Plans - Encourage cities and counties to have General Plans focused on healthy eating and active living, Improving Existing Farmers Markets Shared Use - Encourage using Farmer’s Market site to provide increased opportunity for physical activity and/or healthy food (such as for physical activity, access to kitchen space, or community meeting spaces), Parks Physical Activity Programming - Partner activities with parks departments and other groups to increase access to services, safe recreation areas (can include specific programs like Parks Rx, Parks After Dark, and others), Vending - Encourage healthy vending policies/guidelines behavioral economics strategies (pricing, placement, product selection). Supporting compliance with current laws of best practices), Healthy Procurement - PSES to ensure food procured is healthy (such as strategies include farm to school/institution, shared buying practices), Gardens - Promote gardens for education and for fresh produce for low-income populations.
