I'm 82 years old and I live in a small town in the north of England. I was born in 1932, so I ____ up during the Second World War. It was a difficult time to be a child, but I had a happy childhood. We didn't have much money, but we had a lot of fun. When the war finished, I ____ school and started work in a factory. I worked there for 45 years until I retired.
