Tafkhim means: To raise the back of the tongue towards the palate whilst pronouncing a letter, as if the back of the mouth is full., When 'lam of Allah' is after a fathah or dhammah, it will be full-mouth (back of the tongue is raised)., When 'lam of Allah' is after a kasra, it will be empty-mouth (back of the tongue is flat)., Examples, Important note: The fatha on the 'lam of Allah' will always be stretched for 2 counts., Tip: Round your lips to pronounce waw or any letter with dhammah.,
