virtual memory - An area of HDD that stores temporary memory when RAM is full, RAM - Volatile memory  that is lost when the device is turned off , ROM - Non-volatile memory that stores the BIOS of a device , cache memory - Memory used to store frequently visited pages or files , solid state drive - Uses flash memory to read and write data on to the storage device.
