Learn Like Adults, Not Kids - They learn through a collaboration with the instructor., Have Limited Time - Limit work outside of the classroom due to multiple commitments., Like Goals - Goals need to be meaningful and value learning most when it applies personally, Prior Knowledge & Experiences - Training needs to address the gap between current and desired performance.  Involve them in their learning experience and evaluation of the program, Go Through Phases of Competency - Start out highly motivated for 6 weeks to 3 months, attain self-efficacy, and then have decreasing motivation when the need to learn decreases., Learning is Achieved when Skills Become Routines - New skills should be visible in their work.  The true test is sustainability over time., Have a Finite Capacity for Information - Can experience information overload and only process a limited amount of information at a time.,
