The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus, yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath., Isaiah 55: 8-9, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts., Matthew 19: 16-17, Now a man came up to Jesus and asked. "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal lifer?” “Why do you ask me about what Is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.”
