Tissues - A collection of similar cells that perform a specific function, Epithelial tissues - These are found in animals and consist of sheets of cells that line the surfaces of organs., Xylem - Occurs in plants and is used to transport water and minerals., Organs - A combination of tissues that are coordinated to perform a variety of functions., Organ system - Organs working together as a single unit, Prokaryotic cell - Cells that are smaller and have no nucleus or nuclear envelope., Eukaryotic cell - LArger cells that a nucelus bound by a nucelar membrane., Genetic material - In bacteria this is in the form of a circular strand of DNA, Plasmids - Smaller circuplar pieces of DNA which is separate from the crcular strand, Flagellum - Bacteria may have 1 or more of these and it is used for locomotion., Capsule - A mucilaginous layer of slime which some species of bacteria have, Virus - A cellular, non-living particles which are smaller than bacteria., Capsid - A protein coat that viruses enclose their nucleic acids in., Attachement protein - Viruses use these to identify and attach to host cells.,
