Yesterday,I [got] up at half past eight in the morning. I was hungry, [but] there wasn't any food in the kitchen, [so] I decided to go to the supermarket. I [wanted] to buy milk, cereal and orange juice. I [arrived]at the supermarket at half past nine, but it was still closed. I [went] back home and into the kitchen. There was some grapefruit juice [and] brown bread. But I don't like grapefruit juice [or] brown bread! It was definitely not a good morning. I went back to bed until the shop opened [because]I [felt] really annoyed. , One day, Mr. Sam felt he had good luck, [so] he [bought] twenty lottery tickets. He [thought] to himself, “I will be very rich [because] one of these tickets will get the first prize.” After buying the tickets, he [ran] home to tell his wife. She[became]really angry because he had wasted so much money! She [told] him to sell the tickets to his friends [or] to anyone who would buy them. So poor Mr. Sam [sold] all his tickets to his cousin. The following day, Mr. Sam [and] his wife were surprised to learn that his cousin had become a millionaire thanks to one of Mr. Sam's tickets!, Last year, I [went] on holiday to Córdoba. I usually go to the beach, [but] last summer I wanted to do something different. [So], I [packed] my bags and took a bus to Córdoba. I [stayed] in a beautiful house surrounded by hills[and] trees. In the mornings, I woke up and had breakfast in bed, listening to the birds. In the afternoons, I took a taxi [or] a bus to the river. I couldn't walk there [because] it was too far away from my house. Then, in the evenings, I went out and [ate] dinner in any of the little restaurants in the town. I [had] the best time ever! .
