1) Learners: Effective assessment is important to learners because it allows them to receive informed feedback about the current level of their knowledge and skills. They can then use this feedback to work out what they need to do to improve. 2) Assessor: Assessment allows an assessor to determine the current level of a student's knowledge and skills. This could be done at the start of the learning process to determine a starting point, at various points in the learning process to see progression or at the end of the learning process to confirm that the required standard has been met.  3) Employer: Effective assessment allows employers to make sure that employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
