A few months ago, Ron pulled off a diamond heist at a jewellery shop, but, his getaway went badly wrong when he was involved in two separate car accidents., Shortly afterwards, he was arrested, by the police., The police suspected him, of carrying out the diamond robbery., He had previously been convicted, of petty crimes, but never anything serious., The police questioned him, for several hours., Finally, they charged him, with robbery., A few weeks later, he received a letter, telling him the date of his trial., His case would be heard, in court the following month., Ron hired the best lawyer he could find, to defend him., He pleaded, not guilty., When he was called to give evidence, he claimed, that he had been over 100 miles away at the time of the robbery., Three witnesses identified him, as the man they had seen at the scene of the crime., He was found guilty and sentenced, to three years in prison.
