like living in period houses: old houses look good, they have warmth, you feel like home, they have stood the test of time, they have the style, they are charming, homey and full of memories, dislike living in period houses: too many things want to break down, it's hard to clean things, they need lots of work, they don't have a lot of insulation, it is too cold in winter, it is too hot in summer, have low ceilings,bad electricity wiring and water supply, no modern conveniences, like living in modern houses: more convenient to live in, everything is handy, they come with a lot of insulation, provide a sense of safety, dislike living in modern houses: newer homes are not made to last, they are put up so fast and with the cheapest wood, they will need more repairs in the long run,
