Yesterday I found a load of trash in the garbage can outside my house. It was full of old food. I wanted to get rid of it fast, so I grabbed a bag and cleaned everything up. No way was I leaving that mess there., I was already asleep when someone knocked on the door. “How come you’re here so late?” I asked.“Just a couple weeks ago I lived in this neighbourhood,” he said. “Look out, it’s dark outside.”, We went on a trip last summer. At customs, the officer checked our bags. “Everything is on the button,” he said. “There you go,” I replied and showed my traveler’s checks., I ordered a plain cheese pizza and a drink. “Go easy on the salt, please,” I said. The waiter brought a plate and a napkin. “Check it out, it smells great!”, The police said there was a burglary nearby. The victim said, “I owe nobody anything!” But the man was under arrest because there was enough evidence. “He’ll get it,” the neighbor said quietly.
