Series Circuit: There is only one pathway for the current to take, The voltage is divide between the bulbs, Voltage is shared within the circuit, If one bulb stops working, the whole circuit stops working, As more bulbs are added the circuit becomes dimmer, Each bulb is dependent on the others, As bulbs are added the resistance increases and the current decreases, Two 1.5 volt batteries in a series will act like a 3 volt battery  , Parallel Circuit: There are many pathways the current to take, Each bulb receives the full voltage, The bulbs work separately  , If one bulb stops working, the rest of the bulbs continue to work, As more bulbs are added the brightness remains the same , Each bulb is independent of the others, As bulbs are added the resistance decreases and the current increases, Two 1.5 volt batteries in a parallel will act like a 1.5 volt battery but last twice as long,
