Make an observation - You notice that some nights you have more trouble sleeping than other nights., Ask a question - Why can’t you sleep sometimes?, Do some research - You read more about things that can affect people’s sleep like stress, noise, and caffeine., Form a hypothesis - You decide to test if caffeine negatively affects how you sleep., Test your hypothesis - For one week you have 2 cups of coffee an hour before you go to bed. The second week you have 1 cup of coffee an hour before you go to bed. The next week you don’t have anything with caffeine in it after 12pm., Make a conclusion - After three weeks, you compare how you slept with and without caffeine and discover it does negatively impact how you sleep.,
