The persona tries to express about his/her frightens about the dark. The shadow / the moonlight when move in the dark makes some shadow over his/her head. The persona imagine the shadow as a blanket which thrown over the bed. - I don’t like the dark coming down on my head It feels like a blanket thrown over the bed I don’t like the dark coming down on my head, The persona is trying to prove that the shadow is getting all over the room until he/she can’t see the things which is located at the surroundings. - I don’t like the dark coming down over me It feels like the room’s full of things I can’t see I don’t like the dark coming down over me, The persona feels that the shadow is moving towards the edge of the room which is actually the movement of the moon from one direction to other. The persona also feel like there’s not enough brightness from under the door to fight over the darkness. - There isn’t enough light from under the door It only just reaches the edge of the oor There isn’t enough light from under the door, The persona is expressing how he/she hopes that his/her father did not switch off the lights . - I wish that my dad hadn’t put out the light It feels like there’s something that’s just out of sight I wish that my dad hadn’t put out the light, The persona feels that if he/she hide under the blanket feels safe and secure which he/she can’t see the shadow which is filled inside the room. So he/she decided to stay under the blanket till the sun rise - But under the bedclothes it’s warm and secure You can’t see the ceiling you can’t see the oor Yes, under the bedclothes it’s warm and secure So I think I’ll stay here till it’s daylight once more,
