cut a piece of pond weed, place cut end up in a boiling tube, attach a funnel and capillary tube full of water that is attached to a syringe, place a meter ruler next to the boiling tube, turn off all lights, place a lamp at a set distance along the ruler and turn it on, after 10 minues pull the syringe out to measure the length of the oxygen bubble the plant has produced, repeat this for a range of distances between the plant and the light, for each distance do 3 repeats to calculate an average.
