Stack wind - This technique will create curl to the perimeter of the head leaving the top layers straight. , Weave Wind - This technique involves taking a mesh of hair and weaving into a section which will be wound around a rod. This leaves the other section straight. Continue this method of winding throughout the head., Spiral 2 - For this technique many different tools can be used eg chopsticks, bendies, spiral rods or traditional rods., Root perm 2 - If you need to give lift at the root area, this technique can be used. It is often used to give fine hair movement and volume., Hopscotch perm winding - This technique enables you to create a varied curl using different sized rods., Double Wind 2 - This technique consists of winding the hair normally with one rod but then using another rod in the same section approximately half way down wind. The two rods are then rolled together to the head. This creates a tighter curl at the end of the hair., Root perming - Only used on short hair- root movement only, Spiral - Corkscrew /vertical forming curls. Long hair without layers use bendy rods or conventional rods. Start in the nape. Gives an even curl., Double wind - Will give Variations in curl pattern. Ideal on longer hair. Tighter at the ends., Hopscotch - Will give voluminous curls in various directions. best on above shoulder length hair with layers., Stack - No root lift but curl on the ends . Good on graduated bobs, Piggy back - Great on shorter hair, More root lift and curl on ends , Weave - Volume without tight curls,Variation in curl pattern Ideal on shorter hair, Directional - Definite direction any length,
