rupt- to break or burst, interruption- something that makes someone stop what they are doing (the act of "bursting" between), abrupt- sudden and unexpected ("burst" away), bankrupt- not having enough money to pay what you owe ("burst" the bank), corrupt- not honest or moral ("burst" morals), disrupt- to make it difficult for something to continue in the normal way ("burst" apart), incorruptible- not able to be persuaded to do something wrong or dishonest (having morals that won't " burst"), erupt- to start happening, suddenly and violently ("burst" out).
