1) There are 195 countries in the world; if you take away all the ones where it's illegal to be gay- how many are left?  2) Are there more countries where it’s legal or illegal to be gay? How many more? 3) If 3 more countries made it legal to be gay next year, how many would still have it illegal? 4) If you group the 67 illegal countries into groups of 10, how many full groups is that? How many are left over? 5) Round the number of illegal countries (e.g. 67) to the nearest 10. 6) Put tally marks for every 5 countries where it's illegal to be gay. How many groups of 5 do you have? 7) Is the number of illegal countries even or odd? 8) If you split the illegal countries evenly between two teams for a debate, how many would each team have? 9) Is 67 more or less than half of the countries in the world?
