The bank called Alex to ask him to meet with them. They wanted to talk about his future., Alex got off the tube at Liverpool Street Station., He found the building which had a Union Jack Flying outside it., Mr Crawley met Alex and walked him to his office., Alex asked to go into his uncle's office but it was locked and Mr Crawley didn't offer to open it., Mr Crawley gave Alex a drink of cheap coke., Mr Crawley had to leave the room for 5 mins. Alex poured the drink into the flower pot and tried the door to his uncle's office. It was still locked., Alex climbed out of Mr Crawley's office window which was 17 floors up., He carefully lowered himself onto the ledge outside the office. Alex jumped. He missed the flagpole but managed to grab the flag., He was outside his uncle's office and wondered if the windows would be unlocked., The window was open and Alex opened the desk drawers. H saw lots of files. One of them was called Stormbreaker., Two men and Mr Crawley walked into the office. Alex said "This isn't a bank"., Then one of the men lifted his hand and Alex saw a gun., The man fired. There was an explosion and Alex felt something slam into his heart..
