Client statement "Changing at the moment seems like a big ask", There are lots of supports here and we have a recovery coach who could talk to you about how they did it, What about going to a meeting, listening to how others did it, There are some concerns you would need to consider, What would help you feel more confident about changing, you would like to feel more assured about this before attempting it, I know people who are off everything but they are different than me, they could help you, wny don't you give them a call, there are people you know who could be valuable resources if you decided to give this a go, with our support you could do this, what things would you like to change to make you feel more confident, You have got this far, you can do it, I want to stop, I end up rowing with my partner most times when I drink but I really love a drink watching the football, I don't go out with the lads so with work and all, this is my only down time, you are in two minds about changing your drinking, You want to hold on to drinking while watching football but know most times it ends in a row, You are really caught between a rock and a hard place, Whats concerns your partner about your drinking, What are your reasons for stopping, could you drink the low or non alcohol beer, I'd like to not use but its been a part of my life for so long, I don't know if I could cope without it, We have meetings here and keyworking sessions that could help you do this, If you get involved with our service, we can help you feel more stronger, you know yourself, talking about a problem halves it, We have a programme starting in the next two weeks, will I put your name down for it, lots of people change, I used to use drugs and now I am working here, coming here is the first step, get involved with meetings, they worked for me.
