The conductor runs to another door where a light is on and knocks., Time of Death, proposed by Dr Constantine., Poirot rings for mineral water., Poirot hears noises from Ratchett’s compartment (washbasin, water) and someone walking by. Poirot rings conductor bell to ask for water. Then he hears the conductor talking to Mrs Hubbard, who says a man was in her compartment. Arbuthnot leaves MacQueen., Poirot wakes up., Poirot goes to the restaurant car., Waiter asked if Ratchett would have breakfast, Michel (conductor) opens the door and finds Ratchett dead.
