Wash your hands , Heat the wire loop until it is red hot to kill any bacteria living on it , Allow the loop to cool , Dip the loop into the bacteria you want to grow , Streak the Bacteria across the agar jelly , Heat the used wire loop again to kill any bacteria , Seal the petri dish - but not all the way round, Wash your hands thoroughly .
