local government , the people or person elected to make decisions about affairs in a district, city, etc. This is decided and voted upon by its own people, bylaw, a law passed by a municipality or local government. Ex: a law that only applies to Red Deer, Mayor, The elected head person of an urban municipality, forums, a public discussion where voters ask questions to candidates, council chambers, the room where the local government meets to discuss issues, reeve, The head of a rural government- elected by councilors of the local government  , publicly funded, paid for by taxes, trustee, an elected leader of a school board, rally, a meeting or assembly of many people for a shared or common purpose or action, minutes, the written record of a meeting, transparency , making government decisions in an open way without secrecy so people know about it.
