Distance Formula - The distance formula is used to determine the distance, d, between two points. If the coordinates of the two points are (x1, y1) and (x2, y2), the distance equals, Midpoint Formula - The average between two given x-values and y-values., Polygons - A plane figure with at least three straight sides and angles., Coordinates - Set of values that show an exact position., Ordered Pairs - Two numbers used to show the position on a graph, where the "x" (horizontal) value is first, and the "y" (vertical) value is second. It is written in the form (x, y)., Coordinate Plane - The plane containing the "x" axis and "y" axis., Point - A location, it has no dimension (shape or size), is usually represented by a small dot, and is named by a capital letter., Line - A set of points and extends in both directions. It is one-dimensional. It has no thickness or width. It is usually represented by a straight line with two arrowheads to indicate that it extends without end in both directions, and it is named by a lowercase script letter or any two points that lie on the line., Line Segment - Has beginning and an end. When you are identifying it, you do not use arrows., Ray - Has a beginning but no end. We could draw a ray by beginning at a point and then continuing with an arrow in the opposite direction. A ray is named in a specific order. The first letter must represent the starting point of the ray., Angles - Formed when lines or line segments cross one another., Circles - Has no beginning and no end and contains no angles. Each point on a circle is the same distance away from its center.,
