Emotive Language - Language used to make the reader feel a certain emotion, Similes - Comparing something to another thing using 'like' or 'as', Metaphors - Directly comparing something to something else, not using 'like' or 'as', Onomatopoeia - When a word sounds like the noise it describes, Alliteration - When the same beginning letter or sound is repeated for several words, Personification - When a non-human object is given human features, Zoomorphism - When something that is not an animal is described in an animalistic way, Hyperbole - When something is exaggerated, Exclamatory - A sentence that shows extreme emotion.
