windy: It was blowing a gale when we got to the top, so l didn't go too close to the edge., It was so still. There wasn't even the slightest breeze., wet: It started spitting, so we decided to pack everything up, but then it started pouring down before we could get inside. We all got soaked., There was a huge thunderstorm that flooded the pitch, so the game was called off., sunny: It brightened up in the morning and then the rest of the weekend it was absolutely glorious., hot: I couldn't sleep at night because it was so sticky and humid., cold: Apart from one brief sunny spell, it was pretty miserable most of the time., Oh, it was really bitter! I almost froze to death while we were watching the game., It was a bit chilly at night. We definitely needed the extra blanket., There was a frost on the ground in the morning and it was a lovely, clear crisp day.,
